BCCI President Sourav Ganguly Has given five great news to the fans. The former captain mailed the state association and informed about the big updates going to happen in the next season. Cricket fans will also be very happy with Ganguly’s five big decisions. Ganguly also told about the big updates happening in IPL during this period, so that this tournament will be seen again in the old style. Apart from this, information was also given about the big decisions regarding the upliftment of women’s cricket.

  1. The first season of the women’s IPL will be held next year. Sourav Ganguly told that the women’s IPL will start from 2023 for which preparations are going on and full information will be given in the coming time. Ganguly said in a message sent on 20 September, ‘BCCI is currently working on organizing the much-awaited Women’s IPL. Its first season can be organized early next year.
  2. Apart from the women’s IPL, BCCI will also start the Under-15 tournament for girls from next year. The BCCI believes that this tournament will play an important role in the upliftment of women’s cricket.
  3. Information about India’s schedule has also been given in this mail. The Indian men’s team will host Sri Lanka and New Zealand after the T20 World Cup. At the same time, the women’s team will play the series against Australia.
  4. After Kovid-19, once again the home and away format (home ground and opponent’s ground) will be seen in IPL. All 10 teams will play matches at their home and on the opponent’s ground. Apart from IPL, home and away formats will also return in domestic tournaments.
  5. BCCI is organizing its entire domestic season for the first time after 2020. Due to Corona, the Irani Trophy was not organized for the last three years. However, Sourav Ganguly has told that the Irani Trophy will be organized next year i.e. in 2023. Saurashtra, the winners of the 2019-20 season, will face the Rest of India from October 1 to 5.
