UP Schools: There is good news for the students studying in council schools of UP. Students from first to eighth grade will not be failed now. The schools will directly promote them to the next class. Not only this, but even if a student has not appeared in the exam, he/she will be promoted and get admission in the new academic year. The new academic year is starting from April 1. The Basic Education Council has issued an order in this regard. now all Schools has to obey this order.
In fact, the benefit of being promoted to the next class without giving the exam or failing will be given to only those students who are studying in council schools and recognized schools run under the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council. In this way, the schools will now promote students from first to eighth grade to the next class in the academic year 2022-23. Schools will have to check the copies of each student and prepare a report card on the basis of the number obtained and give it to the students.
Promotion is also mentioned in the Right to Education Act.
It is worth noting here that this thing has also been mentioned in the Right to Education Act. It has been said in the act that children from first to eighth grade should be promoted to the next class without failing. Students cannot be failed under any circumstances. The decision to promote the students from class I to VIII is commendable.
The benefit of this decision of the UP Basic Education Council will be given to lakhs of students who are studying in classes I to VIII. Director General of School Education Vijay Kiran Anand said that note retention policy has been implemented in the state. It is clearly stated in this policy that no child can be failed. The present order is implemented under this.
