New Delhi. The Indian team for the Asia Cup has been announced. Wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan was not found in the 15-member Indian team, after which he expressed his pain on social media. Ishaan on Wednesday shared excerpts from a song and said that he has to be on fire. Ishan is the second Indian batsman to score the most runs in T20 cricket this year.
Ishan out of Rahul’s return
Ishan scored a total of 430 runs in 14 matches in International T20 cricket this year at an average of 30.71 and a strike rate of 130.30. On the strength of this brilliant performance, he had made his place in the team. He was being used as a backup opener and wicketkeeper, but Ishan was dropped with the return of KL Rahul for the Asia Cup. Ishaan shared a story on Instagram and wrote that now don’t be like this, even if you get injured, if you think you are a flower, then you get fired, don’t get lost like all these people.
Ishan was a flop in IPL
Talking about Ishan Kishan’s performance in IPL 2022, Mumbai Indians bought him for a whopping amount of Rs 15.25 crore. He had a strong performance in the initial matches of IPL 2022, but after that he deviated from the rhythm and could score only 428 runs in 14 matches. However, his bat ran fiercely for India.
