The ‘merging’ of two galaxies is happening in the universe, beautiful blue light is coming out, NASA shares the picture

The universe is full of many mysteries, the secrets of which are yet to be discovered. Space experts see many unexpected events happening in outer space every day, which are very surprising. In this episode, a picture of the merger of two galaxies in the universe has been taken by the American agency NASA. It can be seen in the picture that two rotating galaxies are ‘hugging’ each other. Both these galaxies are located 140 million light-years away from Earth.

A shock wave is being produced by the union of the two galaxies, due to which waves are being generated to produce a star. The thing to note here is that the size of the stars born in this way is very large, but their life span is short. NASA shared the picture of these merging galaxies on its Instagram account. The space agency captioned, ‘I am getting and not stirring.’ In the image, two oval-shaped objects can be seen emitting blue X-rays, illuminating the surrounding area.

Image taken from Chandra X-ray Observatory

NASA has captured this very beautiful picture of the union of two galaxies through the Chandra X-ray Observatory. The US space agency launched the Chandra X-ray Observatory in 1999, and since then it has been NASA’s major mission for X-ray astronomy. At present, the Chandra X-ray Observatory is circling the Earth and is capturing such beautiful pictures in the camera.

…so because of this the X-rays are coming out

The US space agency wrote on its Instagram account, ‘Data gathered by the Chandra X-ray Observatory shows that 25 bright X-rays are scattered around. Of these, 14 are such X-rays that astronomers classify as ultra-luminous X-ray sources or ULXs, considering them to be powerful. These ULXs are like a binary system, where a black hole or neutron star is pulling matter out of its companion star. It went viral as soon as NASA shared this picture. More than five lakh people have liked this picture.
