The new Tata Nexon EV that runs 400KM on a single charge will be launched on this day

The country’s well-known automobile company Tata Motors is now finally going to introduce the long-range Nexon EV on May 11, 2022. According to information received from sources, the electric SUV will get a bigger battery pack, which will provide users with more features including a greater range of 400 km. The biggest changes in the new Nexon EV

The biggest change in the long-range Nexon EV is the new 40kWh battery which is about 30 percent more than the 30.2kWh unit offered in the current electric car. Tata will customize the floor of the SUV to fit the bigger battery and it is likely to reduce the boot space as well.

Long range Nexon EV range

The biggest advantage of the larger battery pack is the greater driving range. The existing Nexon EV offers a range of 312km as per ARAI claims on a single charge, while the long-range model can get a range of more than 400kms on the official test cycle. While the current Nexon EV has been limited by the people to a range of 200-220 km, the longer range Nexon EV can give a range of around 300-320 km.

Power and Specifications of Long Range Nexon EV

A more powerful 6.6kW AC charger option can also be given in the long-range Nexon EV. This can be more than the current Nexon EV’s 3.3kW AC charger which takes around 10 hours to charge the battery. Select region modes can also be found in the longer range Nexon EV. This will help the drivers adjust the intensity of regenerative braking which further helps in improving the limit. Whereas the current Nexon EV already comes with region braking which is light and non-adjustable. The longer range Nexon EV may offer more features than the current model. Air purifier and ventilated front seat can be given in the long-range model. It can be given cruise control, park mode and electronic stability program (ESP).
