Asif said, “Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai started in 2015, but before that I was going through a difficult phase. I had no work for two years. I was looking for work but could not find anything better and people were also not offering me anything good. In such a situation, somewhere an insecurity started coming in me that now the time has come to move forward where now I will have to play characters like tau and chacha.

Asif Sheikh spoke on the success of the show
Further Asif said that “Luckily, I got the offer of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain. Initially this show was to be made for 6-8 months only and there was no special expectation from this show. But don’t know why in my heart I felt that there is something in its story and its comedy is also a bit different. Although I had no idea that this show would be so famous.
