These three schemes of Modi government complete 7 years, get the benefit of 4 lakhs for Rs 312

Under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, more than 12 crore enrollments have been done.

All these three public security schemes have made it possible for the common man to have access to insurance and pension. In PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, 2 lakh accident insurance is available at a premium of Rs 12 and in PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, a term life cover of Rs 2 lakh is available for Rs 330.

The Prime Minister’s Suraksha Bima Yojana, which provides social security of the Modi government (Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana ,Atal Pension YojanaToday seven years are being completed. These schemes were launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 9 May 2015. These schemes have been successful in giving pension to the public along with providing insurance and social security at affordable rates. PMJJBY (PMJJBY) more than 12 crore nominations have been done. At the same time, the total enrollment under PMSBY is 28.37 crores. Under PMJJBY and PMSBY, a cover of Rs 4 lakh is available for a premium of Rs 312.

On the 7th anniversary, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said, the number of people registered and benefited from these schemes in the last 7 years is a proof of their success. One of the major objectives of the National Mission for Financial Inclusion announced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 15th August 2014 was to expand the coverage of insurance and pension to provide necessary financial security to the poor and underprivileged sections of the society through affordable products.

These low-cost insurance schemes and guaranteed pension schemes are ensuring that financial security, which was earlier available to a select few, now reaches the last man in the society.
