Bajaj Finance has increased the interest rates on deposits of different tenors by 30 to 45 basis points, which will be effective from July 1. Now you will get 6.20 percent profit on 1-year non-cumulative FD

The company has increased the interest rates on cumulative FDs for 12 to 23 months from 5.75 to 6.20 percent. Apart from this, the company has also announced a hike in interest rates on non-cumulative FDs of varying tenors. After the new increase in interest rates, Bajaj Finance will now pay an interest of 6.06 percent on 3-month non-cumulative FD, which was 5.63 percent earlier. Apart from this, interest of 6.11 percent will now be available on non-cumulative FDs of 6 months tenor instead of 5.67 percent. At the same time, the interest of 5.75 percent on non-cumulative FDs with a tenure of one year has now been reduced to 6.20 percent.

You can get 6.40% return on cumulative FD of 15 months

Apart from this, the company has also increased the interest rates on both cumulative and non-cumulative FDs with a tenor of 15 months. The interest rates on cumulative FDs with a tenure of 15 months have been increased from 6 to 6.40 percent. On the other hand, the interest rates for non-cumulative FDs with tenures of 3 months, 6 months and 12 months have been increased to 6.25, 6.30 and 6.40 per cent respectively. Earlier these rates were 5.87, 5.91 and 6.0 per cent.

Senior citizens will get a hefty profit of 7.75 percent

The company is offering the highest return of 7.5 percent on cumulative FDs of 44 months tenor, which was 7.2 percent earlier. At the same time, the profit given on non-cumulative FDs of the same period has also been increased from 7.2 percent to 7.5 percent.

The company has announced special interest rates for senior citizens. Senior citizens will now get 6.45 percent interest instead of 6 on cumulative FDs of 12 to 23 months. Apart from this, the cumulative FD of 44 months tenor will now get 7.75 percent return instead of 7.45 percent.
