TV9 Bharatvarsh and Gulf Oil Suraksha Bandhan’s special initiative wins 2021 Indian TeleEdge Awards

In recognition of the contribution of TV9 Bharatvarsh, the ‘Suraksha Bandhan’ campaign has been awarded the Editors’ Choice Award in the ‘Best Brand Collaboration with a News Channel’ category at the 2021 Indian TeleEdge Awards (Virtual Event) organized by IndianTelevision.com.

The festival of Raksha Bandhan holds a special significance in the hearts of Indians. Remembering this special day, in August 2021, TV9 Bharatvarsh entered into an agreement with Gulf Superfleet Turbo Plus Truck Engine Oil. This agreement was signed between TV9 Bharatparsh and Gulf Superfleet for the third edition of ‘Suraksha Bandhan’.

This initiative of TV9 Bharatvarsh and Gulf Superfleet Turbo Plus Truck Engine Oil aims to recognize the tireless work of truck drivers and thank them for their work. Truck drivers traveled from state to state to transport essential goods and medical supplies, including oxygen cylinders and medicines, especially during the lockdown, which proved to be very effective in reducing the outbreak of Kovid.

In view of the service of truck drivers in the time of Kovid epidemic, it was necessary to ensure their safety. In such a situation, Kovid vaccination was the only way to keep them away from the virus. Realizing the importance of this and the challenges faced by truck drivers, TV9 Bharatvarsh and Gulf Superfleet Turbo Plus Truck Engine Oil embarked on a mission to help over 10,000 truckers get the COVID vaccine. After this, between August 6 and August 23, more than 10,000 truck drivers were vaccinated in 13 major transport centers across the country.

More recently, the Gulf Oil Suraksha Bandhan initiative in partnership with TV9 Bharatvarsh won Silver and Bronze medals at the ‘Buzz in Content’ Awards.
