Two-seater squad electric car will come with 100 km range, solar panel is installed on its roof

EV startup Squad Mobility has reportedly announced its upcoming two-seater electric vehicle with a solar roof. This EV named Squad (Solar Quad) will be made available in Europe in 2023. Talking about its features, it has a huge solar panel on the top, which can prove to be helpful in increasing the range. The company claims that with the help of solar panels, the electric can give a range of 20 km in a whole day. There is also a battery pack, which extends the range to 100 km.

Gizmochina’s accordingThe starting price of the Squad electric vehicle is €6,250 (about Rs 5.10 lakh) and the company says that the pre-orders for this electric car have started. At present, no information has been received regarding the launch of this EV in the global market.

Talking about the features, a solar panel has been installed in the roof of the Squad EV, which can also charge the battery. The company says that due to this panel, the electric car can run up to 20 km in a whole day. It also gets a swappable battery pack, thanks to which the car can be driven up to 100 km.

Talking about the interior of the Squad, the car comes with a fairly simple interior, although it has a large digital instrument cluster. It also has a climate control feature. It is a two-seater electric car that can accelerate to a top speed of 45kmph thanks to the dual electric motors that generate 5hp.

It has been given large windows as well as its doors can also be removed. It gets big alloy wheels. The company says that they are also developing a four-seater EV equipped with solar panels. Although the company has not shared any information about when this car will be introduced.
