These electronic records available on the Digilocker platform are valid documents as per the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000. All educational institutions should accept it. “In order to increase the reach of the NAD programme, all educational institutions should accept degrees, mark sheets and other documents as valid documents issued in the DigiLocker account,” the commission said. Students can download the Digilocker app or register themselves at digilocker.gov.in to access digital copies of their documents.
