Underworld Gang Wars Battle Royale to compete with PUBG and BGMI with over 2 million pre-registrations in first week

Mobile games are becoming more and more popular in India in the last few years. These games are being liked very much especially by the youth. Seeing the success of PUBG and BGMI in India, several domestic studios have started developing their own battle royale games on the mobile platform. The best example of this is Indus Battle Royale, which is a coming BR game with Indian style.

Now Mayhem Studios Another Indian studio has started pre-registration for its upcoming Battle Royale game named Underworld Gang Wars (UGW) on Google Play Store. The game has crossed over 2 million pre-registrations in its opening week and the number is still not stopping.

The trailer of the game has garnered over 17 million views on YouTube, which continues to grow. So far, it has been well received by the Indian mobile gaming community as well. It looks like the game is inspired by popular gangster flicks like Gangs of Wasseypur, Sacred Games and Mirzapur.

So far it seems that the game features a gang based battle royale mode and another game mode that pits two gangs named Bhokal Toli and Velvets against each other. It can be similar to Battlefield’s War Mode. Where two teams made up of multiple players collide in a setting like ‘Capture the Objective’. On the other hand, team death match style game mode can also be given in it.

It is clear in the trailer that a map named Dhantara has also been given in this mobile game, which is said to be based on real life location in India. The map itself looks quite different, with multiple locations and multiple topography.

As the game is already available for pre-registration. Talking about the launch, it is expected to be launched sometime in this year. More details about the rest of Mayhem Studios’ Underworld Gang Wars will be known only when it is officially launched.<!–
