Varanasi: PM Modi reached the All India Education Conference, said – will connect education with the modern ideas of the 21st century

During his visit to Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the three-day Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam. The program has been organized at the Rudraksh Convention Center under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Education, University Grants Commission (UGC) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Varanasi, attended the three-day Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam. While addressing the Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam, PM Modi said that the event is being organized on the land where the country’s important university was established before independence. He said that the fundamental objective behind the National Education Policy is to bring education out of the bounds of narrow thought process and to integrate it with the modern ideas of the 21st century. The program has been organized at the Rudraksh Convention Center under the joint aegis of the Ministry of Education, University Grants Commission (UGC) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath were also present on this occasion.

PM Modi said that Kashi is also called the city of salvation because knowledge is the only way of salvation in our country. That is why the churning of education and research, of learning and understanding, when the main center of all learning will be in Kashi, then the nectar emanating from it will surely give a new direction to the country. PM Modi said that we do not only have to prepare degree holder youth, but whatever human resources are needed for the country to move forward, they should give our education system to the country. Our teachers and educational institutions have to lead this resolution.

Addressing the academicians at the All India Education Conference, PM Modi said that I am the MP of Kashi, you have come to my Kashi, so in a way I am also the host. Along with all of you are my guests, I am sure you will not face any inconvenience in the arrangements. Everyone has tried to make arrangements, but if still there is any shortcoming then it will be my responsibility.

After Rudraksh, PM will address public meeting in Sigra

PM Modi will reach Sigra Stadium after Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam program at Rudraksh Convention Center. During this, he will give projects worth about 1800 crores to Banaras. Here he will also address a public meeting.
