Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli’s troubles have increased again. This time he is in trouble for assaulting his wife. His wife has lodged a police complaint against him, saying that he abused and assaulted her after drinking alcohol. Please tell that this is not the first time that the matter regarding Kambli has reached the police. Even before this, he has been embroiled in controversies.
According to the Bandra Police, a case has been registered against Kambli under Section 324 and Section 504 of the IPC. He is accused of killing his wife by throwing a cooking pan, in which the wife also suffered a head injury.
Drunk Kambli quarrels with his wife
According to TOI news, the fight between Kambli and his wife took place between 1 am and 1.30 am when Kambli came to his Bandra flat in an inebriated state. In a drunken state, Kambli abused his wife a lot. The quarrel between Kambli and his wife was witnessed by his 12-year-old son, who was horrified to see all this.
The quarrel was not limited to abusing only, after that Kambli went to the kitchen and picked up the cooking pan and hit it by throwing it towards his wife. Police said that before coming to file the complaint, Kambli’s wife had earlier gone to Bhabha Hospital and taken medical treatment.
