Viral Video of Karnataka Mangalore Engineering college students Burqa dance all suspended

Dancing in a burqa at a college event has landed 4 engineering students in trouble. The college management has suspended the four students after the video of the dance went viral on social media. Argued that the dance that was performed was not approved for the program. The matter is being reported of St. Joseph’s Engineering College, Mangaluru, Karnataka. People are debating a lot on this dance on social media. The students’ dance is being termed as an act of hurting the sentiments of a particular community.

According to media reports, the four students dancing wearing burqas at the college event are said to be from St. Joseph’s Engineering College, Mangaluru. Students dressed in burqas danced to a popular Bollywood song. He can also be seen dancing in the video. The audience is also seen appreciating his dance.

As per reports, the event was organized by the student union at the inauguration ceremony of the association. Although the college administration has said in its statement that this dance was done informally by some Muslim students. In its statement, St. Joseph’s Engineering College has said that the dance was not approved for that event. Till the investigation is done, the students have been suspended.

It was not part of the approved program and the students involved have been suspended pending inquiry. The college does not support or condone any activities that could harm the harmony between communities and everyone. (2/2)

In its statement, the college has said that it does not support any such activity which can harm the harmony between the communities. There is a lot of debate in the social media on the dance of the students. Many people are calling the move hurtful to the sentiments of this particular community. Some people said that the people dancing were hurting the sentiments of other community, while the college in its tweet said that the students who danced on the stage are Muslims.
