India’s weightlifters continued their medal winning streak at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022. Taking this sequence forward, Gurpreet Singh of India has also got his name written in the list of medal winning lifters. Gurpreet Singh on Wednesday 3 August won the bronze medal in the category of weight above 109 kg. Gurpreet lifted a total of 390 kg and put the 16th medal in India’s bag.
