  1. In OYO’s global Valentine’s Day consumer index ‘Let’s Love in with Travel-2022’, nearly 62 percent of Indians said that this time they would like to go on a vacation with their spouse to a nearby destination.
  2. The survey said that the bond between husband and wife increases during travel. Two out of three people said that they would like to spend more time with their partner today than before the pandemic. Today Indians do not want to let their holidays go by like this.
  3. The survey was conducted in India, UK, USA, Indonesia and Germany during February. In this, the views of about 2,000 people were taken.
  4. According to the survey, Goa is among the favorite places of Indian travelers to spend a holiday on Valentine’s Day. After that comes the number of mountains i.e. Manali.
  5. 38 percent of the people surveyed said that they like to travel and share their experiences to spend quality time with each other. At the same time, 26 percent said that they want a break for some rest between work. 25 percent said they wanted to explore a new place and culture.
  6. At the same time, 84 percent people said that travel strengthens mutual relations with their spouse. For most of the Indians surveyed, Paris was the preferred destination for ‘love’. After that comes the place of Goa and Kolkata.
  7. As far as holidaying on Valentine’s Day is concerned, 28 per cent of Indians named Paris and an equal number of people named Maldives as their favorite international destination. Switzerland ranked third.
