  4. EGR can be bought and deposited till physical delivery of gold is demanded. EGR will take the form of shares lying in demat accounts.
  5. Analysts say this will also spur the growth of demat accounts and pave the way for higher financial deals by promoting lending and lending of gold through EGR.
