However, rice production in the year under review is estimated to be a record 13.29 million tonnes, as against 12.43.7 million tonnes in the same period a year ago.

In the non-foodgrain category, the production of oilseeds is estimated to be a record 37.69 million tonnes in the crop year 2021-22 as against 30.59.4 million tonnes in the previous year. The production of zucchini/mustard for the crop year 2021-22 is estimated to be a record 177.4 million tonnes.
