Ban removed from Sandeep, accused of rape
The Nepal Cricket Board has lifted the ban on Sandeep this week. He was accused of rape by a 17-year-old girl in a hotel room in Kathmandu, after which Sandeep was banned and had to go to jail. Although he has been released on bail only last month.
The President of the Cricket Association of Nepal told that Sandeep Lamichhane has now got permission to return to the field. He told that after the allegation, we banned Sandeep, but on the basis of the new decision, the ban imposed on him has been lifted.
