Delhi EWS Admission 2023: ews quota in private schools of delhi ,Delhi EWS Admission 2023, The process of registration for admission under is going on. Registration starts from 10 February 2023. Under the EWS quota, 22 percent seats in all private schools are reserved for children from economically weaker sections. The process of registration for admission will continue till 25 February 2023.
Under the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009, at least 22% seats in the entry level classes – Nursery, KG and Class 1 are reserved for children from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Disadvantaged Groups (DG). At the same time, 3 percent seats are reserved separately for differently-abled children.
For admission, one has to apply on the official website edudel.nic.in till February 25 or earlier. The first computerized draw will take place on March 3, 2023.
Who can apply under EWS quota?
Families with an annual income of less than Rs 1 lakh can apply for admission under the EWS category. Any person residing in Delhi, having residence proof of Delhi and requisite income certificate issued by Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi (less than one lakh rupees annually), BPL/AAY (Ration Card/Food Security Cardholder) can apply are eligible for.

How to Apply Delhi EWS Admission 2023
- First of all go to the official website edudel.nic.in.
- Now click on the EWS Online Application Form Link on the home page.
- Register here and start the registration process.
- Upload all the documents asked for.
At the same time, tell that the second list for admission in nursery schools of Delhi was released on 6 February 2023. There are a total of more than 1800 schools, in which children are to be admitted under nursery. The registration process for admission in nursery continued till December 23, 2022.
