UBS will have to obtain permission from the Reserve Bank of India to run Credit Suisse’s operations in India. At present, both Credit Suisse and UBS do investment banking and wealth management in India.

Credit Suisse : After the acquisition of Credit Swiss by Swiss bank UBS, there has been a lot of speculation about the Indian operations of both the banks. UBS to run Credit Suisse’s India operations reserve Bank of India permission has to be taken. At present, both Credit Suisse and UBS do investment banking and wealth management in India.
Signature Bank, which failed in the US banking crisis, has found a new buyer. The bank’s 40-branch operations were purchased by a subsidiary of New York Community Bancorp on March 19. After the Silicon Valley bank crisis, a crisis also arose in front of Signature Bank and on March 12, the bank’s branches were closed. On the other hand, the US regulator is still looking for a buyer for Silicon Valley Bank.
