Ahmedabad.IPL 2023 is starting from Friday. The first match will be played between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings. Everyone was waiting for this match for the last several days. On one side there will be Titans of last season’s champion Hardik Pandya and on the other hand there will be MS Dhoni’s fans, but before this match, Dhoni’s injury increased everyone’s tension. Now the question is arising whether he will play the opening match or not.
Everyone is eager to see Dhoni on the field after a long time, but the news of his injury upset the fans. Now CSK CEO Kashi Vishwanathan has made a big update on his fitness. Which is going to give relief to the fans.

In fact, Dhoni had suffered an injury to his left knee during the practice session before the match. He did not practice batting before the match even at the Narendra Modi Stadium on the previous day. Suspicion remains on Dhoni’s playing, but the CEO has denied it. Viswanathan told PTI that Dhoni is 100 per cent fit.

If the CSK captain does not play in the opening match, then one of Devon Conway or Ambati Rayudu can be seen doing wicketkeeping against the Titans. However, it is also believed that he does not practice just before the match to save energy.
