India’s male wrestler Naveen on Saturday won the gold medal in the 74 kg weight category at the Commonwealth Games. Naveen won the gold medal by defeating Tahir of Pakistan 9-0 in the final match. This is India’s sixth gold medal in wrestling in these games. In front of Naveen, the Pakistani wrestler could not stand anywhere and was easily defeated.

Tahir tries to do a leg attack against Naveen. Naveen made the same effort, but Tahir cleverly saved his leg. The strength of both of them is the lag attack itself. Meanwhile, the referee challenged Tahir to passivity. Soon after, Naveen took Tahir down and took two points. After this, Naveen tried to threaten Tahir by holding both the legs but Tahir defended himself. By the end of the first round, Naveen was leading 2-0.

Defensive in the second round

Pakistani wrestlers remained defensive in the second round, so they were put in time. Here Naveen dominated and then he took three more points and made the score 5-0. Then Naveen made the score 9-0 by betting four points. Here Senveen needed one more point from which he would have won the match on the basis of technical proficiency, but Tahir did not let his wish come true.
