Yash Dayal could not believe the news of his sale
After being named in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction, Yash Dayal was not sure if any team would buy him. Yash is currently in Gurgaon where he is completing his quarantine period ahead of the Ranji Trophy. Yash was watching the IPL auction but his name was not coming, so he slept by turning off the TV and silencing the mobile phone.
Later, when Yash woke up and saw his phone, his phone was full of missed calls and messages. He noticed that his father Chandrapal Dayal had 20 missed calls on his phone. When Yash Dayal’s father was calling him and he was not picking up the phone, his father got upset. While talking to the English newspaper Indian Express, Chandrapal said,
“We were worried as to why he was not picking up the phone. When I told him about the auction, he thought I was driving him crazy. No player from his team went to his room as he cannot move around due to covid protocols. ,
never got father’s support
Yash’s father has also been a fast bowler and played the Vizzy Trophy. Although he did not get support from his father, but now he is giving full support to his son so that he can play for the national team and do those things which he could not. They said,
“I never got support from my father. Rather my father always used to say that there is no future in cricket. I am wasting my time and I should prepare for the exam. ,
Yash Dayal’s talent was recognized at the age of six
Yash Dayal gave a strong performance in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In seven matches, this bowler took 14 wickets at an economy rate of 3.77. Yash’s talent, which everyone is convinced, is the ability to swing the ball both ways and he does this at a speed of 140 kilometers per hour. His father told that Yash likes to bowl fast balls. They said,
“He likes to bowl fast balls. He is fast but not erratic. He can swing the ball both ways. He has excellent bouncers and bowls yorkers. The most surprising thing I found was his throwing the ball with his left hand and he became a fast bowler, it came as a surprise to me.
When Yash was 12 years old, his father took him to the Madan Mohan Malviya Stadium. And from here Yash’s becoming a cricketer started. Yash made his debut in September-2018 and has played 12 first-class matches so far. Apart from this, he has participated in 14 List-A matches. He has played 15 T20 matches for Uttar Pradesh.
